Multi-level parallel chaotic Jaya optimization algorithms for solving constrained engineering design problems

Several heuristic optimization algorithms have been applied to solve engineering problems. Most of these are based on populations that evolve according different rules and parameters reach the optimal value a function cost through an iterative process. Different parallel strategies proposed accelerate algorithms. In this work, we combined coarse-grained strategies, multi-populations, with fine-grained diffusion grid, efficiently use large number processes, thus drastically decreasing computing time. The Chaotic Jaya algorithm has considered in work due its good computational behaviors solving both constrained problems (seven problems) unconstrained benchmark functions (a set 18 functions). experimental results show outperform state-of-the-art terms behavior, quality obtained solutions, exploit shared memory platforms.
